Obsessed With These XXL Stiletto Nails — The Dual Forms Made It So Much Easier

I’ve been wanting to try an extra-long stiletto set for a while, and this shape turned out even better than I expected. For this milky-white manicure, I used the COZURU Extra Long Stiletto C16 Dual Forms.

Why I chose dual forms for this XXL set

Extra-long stiletto nails are all about the sharp tip and sleek, balanced silhouette. Sculpting that shape by hand can mean a lot of time checking the sidewalls, apex and center line. With dual forms, much of the outline is already there, so I could focus on placement and the finish instead of building the entire shape from scratch.

How I made the shape

1. Choose the size. I picked a form that fit each nail before adding product. Check the fit at the sidewalls so the form sits straight rather than squeezing the nail or leaving gaps.
2. Add and place the extension gel. I added the gel to the form, placed it onto the nail and checked that the tip was centered. Keep an eye on product near the cuticle and sidewalls before curing.
3. Cure and remove the form. Cure the gel according to the product instructions, then gently release the form. The form came off to reveal a clean stiletto shape with a defined C-curve.
4. Check and refine. I looked at the nails from the front and both sides, then refined any uneven edges. I needed less filing than I usually do when shaping a long stiletto by hand.

The nails are milky white throughout; the natural pink of the nail bed shows through near the base, creating the appearance of a fade from pink to white. Quick checks for a cleaner result

If the tip looks off-center, check the form’s alignment before curing. If product collects at an edge, tidy that area before it sets. And if the nails look different from one another, compare their length and side profiles before doing your final filing. Small checks along the way can save reshaping later.
